  • Coaching is a thought-provoking, collaborative conversation that helps you clarify goals, explore perspectives, leverage your strengths, and take purposeful action. It’s about unlocking your potential, discovering your own insights, and accelerating your growth.

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximise their personal and professional potential.”

  • Clients often tell me that after coaching they feel clearer, more confident, and better equipped to lead after coaching. Research supports these outcomes, highlighting the tangible impact coaching can have.

The ICF’s Global Consumer Awareness Study identifies benefits such as:

    • Improved communication skills

    • Greater self-confidence and self-esteem

    • Increased productivity

Coaching also helps leaders identify and leverage their strengths to optimise performance, refine strategies, and uncover new opportunities - while building the insight and resilience needed to navigate complexity with confidence.

  • Each session is shaped by your priorities. Together, we clarify outcomes, explore perspectives, and uncover insights that help you take purposeful, strengths-based action - while addressing any limiting thought patterns or behaviours that may be holding you back.

Coaching creates space for reflection, discovery, and intentional decision-making aligned with your values and goals.

  • Coaching provides a confidential space to explore the leadership challenges that matter most to you.

    Common themes include:

    • Team leadership and impact

    • Strategic thinking and decision making

    • Navigating change and complexity

    • Innovation and creative problem-solving

    • Communication and influence

    • Overcoming self-doubt and building confidence

    • Resilience and work-life balance

    • Emotional intelligence and self-awareness

    • Career advancement and transitions

  • My coaching is strengths-focused and collaborative. I help clients explore and cultivate their unique strengths, enabling them to navigate leadership challenges with confidence, authenticity, and impact. Rather than offering advice or solutions, I guide you to uncover your own insights and take purposeful action.

I draw on a range of coaching models and tools, informed by over 20 years of senior leadership experience in complex global environments. Clients describe my approach as focused, calm, supportive, and gently challenging when needed - creating a space for reflection, self-awareness, and growth.

  • I trained as an executive coach with Henley Business School and hold accreditation as an EMCC Senior Practitioner, as well as membership of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

I also bring over 20 years of leadership experience across the Americas, the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, China, and the UK.

This blend of professional coaching training and senior leadership experience allows me to empathise with the challenges leaders face and create a space where they can explore their strengths, uncover insights, and achieve meaningful growth.

  • Many leaders choose programmes of 6-12 one-hour sessions over 3-6 months, typically meeting every 2-3 weeks. Shorter, focused sprints or even single sessions can also be valuable for time-bound goals.

We’ll agree the length of sessions and frequency together, tailoring the approach to support your growth most effectively.

  • Because each leader’s goals and context are unique, fees are tailored to the scope of the engagement - such as session cadence and programme length. After a brief discovery call, I’ll share a proposal with options, what’s included and timelines.

  • Yes. Everything we discuss in coaching is treated as strictly confidential. The only exceptions are rare situations in which a client may be at risk of harm to themselves or others, or is involved in serious criminal activity.

Confidentiality is built into all coaching agreements, whether for individual clients or organisation-sponsored coaching. I also adhere to the professional codes of ethics of both the ICF and EMCC.

  • Coaching is a collaborative, non-directive process focused on helping you clarify goals, explore perspectives, and take purposeful action. It draws on your unique experience and strengths, rather than offering direct advice or solutions.

Mentoring involves guidance from someone with more experience who shares expertise, while training and workshops are designed to teach specific skills or knowledge.

Coaching complements these approaches by helping you integrate learning, apply insights, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
